Your information
Privacy notice
This notice explains how Amir Designs, including its Mubarak Message service, handles personal information when you browse the public site or contact us about a project. RSVP information is covered in a separate notice.
Who is responsible
Amir Designs is responsible for the information described here. For a privacy question or request, email [email protected] or use the contact page. This is an independent studio based in Huddersfield, UK.
Information we receive
If you make an enquiry, we receive your name, email address, project type, project description, timing and any further details you choose to send. If you commission work, we may also handle project correspondence, supplied materials, approvals and information needed to deliver the agreed work. The public site also receives routine technical and security information needed to deliver pages and protect the service.
How we use it
We use enquiry information to reply and discuss a potential project; client information to plan, deliver and support agreed work; and technical information to operate and secure the website. We do not use these details to send marketing newsletters, and we do not sell or rent personal data. We only publish client work in the showcase when the required permission has been recorded.
RSVP information
Guest names, attendance choices, party size, additional guest names, dietary details, optional email addresses and messages are handled for the event host. Please read the separate RSVP privacy notice before submitting a reply.
Service providers
The site uses service providers to host and secure the website and RSVP service, deliver enquiry forms, store event information and send transactional RSVP emails. Enquiries submitted through the project form are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to Amir Designs. Providers may process information on our behalf to provide those services; some may process it outside the UK, with safeguards applied where required.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only while it is needed for the purpose it was collected. We review it when that purpose ends and periodically thereafter, then delete or anonymise it as soon as it is no longer needed. If a specific legal obligation or active claim requires a limited hold, we keep only the necessary information, restrict its use and review the hold. Guest RSVP details are used to manage the invitation and event; once the host no longer needs identifiable replies for those purposes, they are removed or anonymised. Any future guest contact list used to send invitations or updates will be separate from RSVP replies and removed when the sending task is complete or abandoned. See the RSVP privacy notice.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or raise an objection or restriction request where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business reasons. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact us first and we will respond to your request.
Changes
If the services or the way information is handled changes, this notice will be updated. The review date above indicates the latest editorial review, not a guarantee that every provider’s systems are unchanged.
